The Austrian Central Association for Orthopedic Footwear Technology was founded on January, 20th 1928 and currently has 130 members.

Since its founding, the exhibition has successfully completed the following tasks:

• Representation of members in Germany and abroad
• Joint performance with doctors and medical institutions
• Initial and on-going formation of members
• Meetings to exchange experiences
• Free consulting service in professional matters
• Promotion of the young masters
• Presentation of orthopedics – shoe technology in public
